The Austin Motel is a unique home grown business in the central Austin neighborhood of South Congress Ave. with 4 generations of continuous family operations. In 2013 the Austin Motel celebrated its 75th Anniversary. In that time only two families and a multitude of staff have fueled its presence and service to people here in Austin and around the world. While we have become structurally a little more modern though the years our spirit has remained old fashioned quaint in the tradition of the -Motels of the Southwest- friendly and very -South Austin- While it is not possible to guarantee guests specific rooms each room in the Austin Motel is uniquely and delightfully decorated and furnished. The Austin Motel today continues its family traditions joined in that collaboration by the 19 staff of the Austin Motel who share 150 years of Austin Motel service between them. All of us here at the Austin Motel are tremendously proud to continue our commitment to providing a quality affordable and interesting home away from home for travelers to Austin well into the future as it has in the past.
