The Maisonette – A Charming Stay for Independent Travelers Locally owned and operated, The Maisonette offers a welcoming and affordable stay for independent travelers who prefer a self-sufficient experience without the need for 24-hour onsite service. Nestled in the village-like urban neighborhood of Potts Point, our heritage property dates back to 1929. This sought-after area, located on the edge of Sydney Harbor, is home to renowned cafes, restaurants, and bars, making it a fantastic destination for food lovers. Independent boutiques, vintage stores, and the vibrant Saturday local market add to the charm of this unique neighborhood. Limited Front Desk Hours – Seamless Self-Check-In We offer a daytime front desk service between 9am and 5pm (except Sunday). If you arrive outside these hours, don’t worry – we’ll arrange for your key to be securely stored in a lockbox at the front door. Our team remains available via phone or messaging apps should you need any assistance. Room options. We offer three room types, all accessible via a central staircase (please note, there is no elevator): King and Twin rooms – Ideal for couples or friends, featuring a private ensuite. Single room – Perfect for solo travelers, with a shared bathroom. Rooms are serviced weekly, ensuring a comfortable, fuss-free stay. Explore Sydney with Ease The Maisonette is just a 10-minute walk from the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens, leading to the Opera House and Sydney Harbor foreshore. Hop on a ferry to Manly, explore The Rocks and Darling Harbor, or dove into Sydney’s central shopping district. Sydney’s famous beaches are also easily accessible via the city’s excellent public transport network.
