Hôtel de la Marine: Al Thani Collection

Tour the Hôtel de la Marine and visit the galleries of the Al Thani Collection

In the heart of Paris, Hôtel de la Marine has been a grand bystander to over 250 years of history in France's storied capital. An iconic monument on Place de la Concorde, built by royal architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel back in the late 18th century, it once housed priceless royal art & furniture, before becoming the headquarters of France’s navy ministry for most of its life. Only opened in 2021, you can now take a self-guided tour of this valuable cultural monument, exploring the stately reception rooms and taking in ornate fittings, exceptional chandeliers, and grandiose lounges with the aid of an audio guide.
