Learn about the historical significance of Krakow and visit Auschwitz-Birkenau
Begin your journey from the Warsaw Central Train Station to Krakow via a scenic train ride of 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, a driver holding a sign bearing your name will be there to greet you. From there, you'll set off on a 1.5-hour drive to the starting point of a tour of Auschwitz Birkenau. A well-informed guide will help you explore the historic site of the former Nazi concentration camp. Look at barracks, guard towers, cremation sites, and visit Auschwitz I, a political prison, and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, a site where the Jews were executed. Spend approximately 2 hours at the first camp and about 1 hour at the second. After the visit, you’ll be escorted back to Krakow and explore the city at your own pace.
